Yoga Class Descriptions

Spa Yoga

Indulge in our Spa Yoga class, This unique class begins with a 5 minute meditation with reiki.

The room is gently heated, covered with candles and soothing music. 

 Focussing on inner strength,  stretching, and calming breathwork to melt away tension in your body and mind.  There are hands on assists throughout class to further relaxation. 

This class offers you an opportunity to recharge, connect  with your body,  breath and reclaim your well being.

Foundations Flow

Step into our Beginner's Yoga class—No matter your age, fitness level, or prior experience, you are welcome here. Our goal is to create a space where you can explore yoga at your own pace, free from judgment or competition. This class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga. Focusing on gentle movements, basic poses, and mindful breathing techniques.. Whether you're new to yoga or seeking to revisit the essentials Join us to build strength, improve flexibility and build a strong foundation.

Candlelight Flow

Step into our Candlelit Slow Vinyasa class, a sanctuary of calm where movement flows gracefully by the flicker of candlelight.

This class embraces a gentle pace to unwind the body and quiet the mind. Experience the therapeutic benefits of slowing down and still enhancing flexibility and strength.

Elevate & Reset

This class mixes high-intensity exercises targeting glutes, core, and quads. Using provided equipment like bands and weights, we'll start with a quick warm-up, move to 12-15 reps of exercises, take short breaks between sets, and end with a Serenity Stretch.

Restore & Renew

Taught in the style of Yin Yoga this class will bring you on a journey into deep relaxation and inner peace. With an emphasis on long-held, passive poses, connective tissues are targeted to release deep-seated tension.

In Yin Yoga, we emphasize stillness and surrender, allowing gravity to gently open the body and create space within. Each pose is held for several minutes, facilitating a meditative experience that enhances flexibility and cultivates mindfulness.

Discover the art of letting go, finding balance, and nurturing a profound sense of well-being in a supportive and calming atmosphere. This class is gently heated

Strength and Ease

 Stirram sukham asanam - translated steadiness and ease 

A vinyasa flow intended to do just that. Positioning the physical  body in a steady asana is said to transform the subtle body or mind and sensory energies into steadiness. This class will lead you through a series of poses and sequencing to find that balance.  Energize , strengthen and revitalize your body and mind. This class is gently heated and includes an extended shivansana with cool lemon towels.

Followed by an extended savasana.

Power Yoga

Based on Baron Baptiste where strength meets mindfulness in a vibrant practice.  Each session combines powerful poses with mindful breathing to energize your body and focus your mind. Join us to  build strength and find inner balance in a supportive environment. This class is heated.

Serenity Synergy flow

Welcome to Serenity Synergy flow where practitioners of every level come together to explore movement, breath, and mindfulness.  This class blends dynamic sequences with calming postures, offering variations to suit both beginners and seasoned yogis alike.

Each session begins with centering breathwork and a  warm-up to prepare the body and mind. As we flow through a series of poses, you'll have the opportunity to deepen your practice with options for modifications or advancements, ensuring everyone can participate at their own comfort level.

Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or simply unwind, this class is designed to meet you where you are. 

Embrace the transformative power of yoga as we connect mind, body, and breath in this inclusive and uplifting practice.

Vini Hatha

Serenity's Vini Hatha Yoga is great for any body- whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned pro. The Vini Hatha style focuses on calming the parasympathetic nervous system in every posture throughout the asana practice. This class is slightly slower than a traditional vinyasa flow, as Vini Hatha stays in posture longer to promote muscle memory strengthening and patience for the self that every individual can use on the mat on and off!

Vini Hatha is a practice of humble yet radical self acceptance for every individual for how they and their body shows up on the mat in the present moment. Namaste.
